London Education Partnerships

The Association of Education Partnerships (AEPA) is led by a national steering group, which is co-chaired by Baroness Estelle Morris and Christine Gilbert CBE. The aim is to learn from each other by sharing experiences and ideas. The hope is that by doing so it will expand the conversation to other parts of the education system.

Merton Schools Stronger Together:

Our borough is a fantastic place for education and there are a whole host of reasons why people choose Merton schools to work, learn, and develop:

Excellent Pay
With the Inner-London Weighting pay award, teachers in Merton are the best paid in the country. They also benefit from living in an area with lower costs than central London.

Unparalleled CPD
Our excellent and integrated programme of professional development, delivered by all our partners, provides teachers with meaningful opportunities to take their careers in a direction that excites them.

High Diversity
We are incredibly proud of our diversity in Merton schools and aim to ensure that this diversity is reflected in our workforce.

Superb Progress
Our secondary schools are among the highest achieving in the country for progress and our primary schools have improved year-on-year.
